Wide mouth; polypropylene; screw cap size: 89mm; capacity: 8 oz., polypropylene construction offers higher temperature resistance than ldpe or hdpe up to 135 c (275 f) for short periods and 100 c (212 f) continuously making these jars ideal for autoclaving. Note: completely disengage threads or remove closure before autoclaving. With a brittleness temperature of 0 c (32 f). Rigid walls. Excellent chemical resistance. Can be sterilized by all normal methods, except dry heat and radiation. Supplied with polypropylene linerless screw closures
