Kit consists of crt socket and shrink-sleeving plus instructions on how to cut leads from old crt socket and splice in new socket; in early production of monochrome model sna, a soft 7 pin base required hand soldering; this was replaced by a hard 12 pin base eliminating the soldering operation; the different bases were not interchangeable so 357107 kit was developed
