The weatherpod is a standard ada weatherpod tailored for the imets application. The imets weatherpod is configured with no wireless radio, no gps and no rain guage. All other standard weatherpod configuration items are contained within the imets weatherpod including the high resolution barametric pressure sensor. The weatherpod sensor is a lightweight, miniaturized self-contained weather monitoring unit that gathers environmental weather information. The weatherpod contains two lithium ion battery cells. The batteries cannot recharge over 40 degrees celsius and rated life is reduced 50 percent at minus 20 degrees celsius. The weatherpod weighs approximately 2.5 pounds with batteries.
