Functional Description
Receives digital engine performance signals from the engine monitoring system processor and aircraft parameters from the mux; these signals are compared against predetermined limits stored in the emsc; exceedences and faults are transmitted to remote aircraft systems; also monitors the dec and its own performances and transmitts data to the pilot displays; detects engine control loop failures and compressor stalls
