Functional Description
Receives digital engine performance signals from the digital electronic control (dec) and aircraft parameters from the aircraft mux bus; these signals are compared against predetermined limits stored in the emsc; exceedences and faults are transmitted to remote aircraft systems; also monitors the dec and its own performance and transmits data to the pilot display; detects engine control loop failures and compressor stalls
