Functional Description
Used in testing, calibrating, or troubleshooting the icats thermocouple temperature measurement system, or individual type k thermocouple probes; when used with the thermocouple calibrator produces outputs, or reads inputs, referenced to 32 degrees f, 0 degrees c, and autimatically compensates for ambient temperature changes
General Description
To use the compensator it is plugged directly into the top terminal posts of the t/c calibrator; the thermocouple probe or the output cable is then plugged into the top of the compensator; using the t/c junction compensation module eliminates the need for an ice bath
